- Ding Dong Merrily on High - the tune of this carol is taken from Thoinot Arbeau's "Orchesographie", a French dance manual published in 1589. The words are more modern.
- Good King Wenceslas - the story of a 9th century Bohemian saint, the words as we know them were written by John Mason Neale in 1894, and set to 13th century tune "Tempus Adest Floridum" first printed and published in "Piae Cantiones" in 1582
