We intend to make this feast entertaining and spectacular as well as tasty.
Some of the entertainment is in the pageantry of the serving, which will include a procession and announcement of each course, "lavers" bringing around scented washing water, and so on.
In addition to this, we will be arranging for performers to entertain between courses.
After the first main course, a course of lighter "nibbly" food will be served, and during this time, dancing will occur. This will allow the diners to shake down some of the food and make room for more.
First dance set

More dancing will occur during the final banquet course, which consists of light dessert dishes served from a sideboard at the end of the meal.

Our Master of the Revels (Dame Helen of Greyfells) will be organising entertainments, including dancing. Please contact Helen at arclight@magma.caif you would like to perform or entertain, or would like to join the dance band.
