This feast's theme, as far as food was concerned, was "Elizabethan". The dishes all came from cookbooks from the period 1580-1615, and most came from original research by Just A Feast's cooks. That is to say, we used the original sources and figured out how to cook the dishes, rather than relying on modern versions already published.
